In the 70th year since the death of Eng. H.C. Ferdinand Porsche, the Volkswagen Club Italia proposes a gathering between the Romagna hinterland and the sea, reserved for a limited number of selected VW cars from the very first series of the 1950s - 1960s.
During the event, Gerhard Richard Gumpert, founder in 1954 of AUTOGERMA, now Volkswagen Group, importer and distributor for Italy, will be remembered.
On Saturday 22 May, the exhibition of the cars will take place in Piazzale Fellini where, in the afternoon, the presentation of the crews and the "Amarcord" - 'Elegance contest' -will be held in the prestigious location of the Grand Hotel, followed by the aperitif and the Gala dinner.
Sunday 23 May in Piazzale Federico Fellini will take place, in the afternoon, the 'Elegance contest' "La Dolce Vita" where the director of the magazine 'RuoteClassiche' will examine and choose the best cars.
The awards ceremony and the assignment of the 'Alberto Betti Memorial Trophy' will follow.
